1) CHECK YOUR CHILD’S NAME
We are so excited to have the first proof of the 2023 HASS T Shirt! Please take 3 minutes and LOOK at the attached document. Check to make sure that your swimmer’s name is spelled correctly AND on the right team! In the past, swimmers have been left off or spelled incorrectly, so this is important. If you have friends who may be on vacation, please check their swimmers on their behalf, too.

If you need to make a change, please email me at aprilandcoachneil@hagerstownareasummerswimming.org right away. The HASS STORE for ordering shirts should be open by this Monday! Any changes must be sent to us by tomorrow evening, Saturday, July 8, in order for us to have the shirts available by the Championship Meet! So, go look now!

Below please find the family name of the swimmers assigned to each meet. If you have two or more swimmers, your last name will be listed only once. We also tried to keep families together, unless you specified differently. This is not set in stone, so let me know if you need to change something or if you do not see your name. 3) FIRECRACKER MEET – DETAILS
So excited to have a meet at the St. James Pool!! Please have your swimmer arrive at 8AM for stretching outside of the pool, and volunteers for set-up, please arrive at 8AM to set-up inside! We hope to start the meet close to 8:30AM. All swimmers will be swimming Freestyle and Backstroke and relays…and will receive a fun, frozen treat at the end of the meet! Don’t forget to wear your HASS shirts for “Family Spirit Contest Points!” We will also have a light concession stand available with drinks, snacks, and the car magnets!

4) WAYNESBORO MEET – DETAILS
This is a great opportunity to swim at a competitive pool! Please meet at Waynesboro YMCA Pool at 12PM. We will be stretching outside in the grass first, then we will enter the building and pool area as a group. Please wear your official HASS swim caps and a team suit, if you have one. Parents, now would be a great time to wear an HASS shirt! (You’ll get points for the “Family Spirit Contest!”) The meet is indoors, and parents can view the meet from the balcony. The swimmers will mainly stay with our coaches on the pool deck during the meet. Coaches Neil, Charity, Claire, and Megan will be at this meet to help all of the swimmers! They will have a concession stand available, and I will let you know if they need you to time. (Thank you to those who volunteered! Not sure how many of us they will need!)
