2) TEAM PICTURES BEFORE THE MEET!
Our 2023 HASS team pictures will be taken at 6:15pm this Saturday before the meet, July 16th! Please have your swimmer wear their team suit, and a HASS team shirt from previous years, if you have them! Meet at 6pm outside of the pool for stretching and to line up for pictures!

3) NEW MEET SCHEDULES
While this Saturday we will keep an evening Swim Meet, the County has agreed to let us use the pool in the morning for future swim meets! This is a very good thing because we are not really able to include all of the events and relays in a night meet – There just is not enough time!

The following events will all be held at the Halfway Pool:
July 16, Saturday, Night Meet, 6pm
July 19, Wednesday Night, Teen Pizza Pool Party, 6:15pm
July 22, Saturday, Morning Meet, 7:30am
July 29, Saturday, Morning Championship Meet, 7:30am
July 29, Saturday, Evening Awards Party, 6:15pm

Please mark your calendars as these are changes! Please note that we are thankful to provide a make-up meet on July 22 for the meet that was canceled due to weather! Hurray!

Our HASS Team Shirts are SO FUN! They list every swimmer on the back side, they are a happy reminder of your summer activities, and they are a great way for your proud swimmer to point out their name on the back of the shirt to their friends! Thank you to Ashleigh Campbell and Penny Tolson who have been working to bring the 2023 HASS Team T Shirts to life!

5) GREAT MEETS LAST WEEKEND!
Our Firecracker meet was fast and fun and filled with popsicles at the end! Great job, everyone! Our Waynesboro Waves meet was a great experience for our HASS traveling swimmers! We are so proud of our swimmers for mastering the starts from the blocks and for racing in a new pool!

I am hoping to have ribbons to the coaches on Friday morning.
