1) HASS SHIRT ORDERS – LAST CALL
You have until midnight, Sunday night, July 16, to place your 2023 HASS shirt order! We are very hopeful that we will have the shirts ready before the Championship Meet on July 29th, so you can support your swimmers! Regular Tees and “Moisture Wicking” Tees are available, as well as sweatshirt options, which are new this year! Follow this link: https://stores.bjscustomcreations.com/hass

2) MEET & PICTURES TOMORROW NIGHT
Tomorrow night, Saturday, July 15th, all swimmers should meet at the Marty Snook Park Pool at 6pm on the grass outside of the pool. Those who have volunteered to help set-up should meet just before 6pm to enter the pool as soon as possible. (Thank you!) We will line up the swimmers for the picture outside of the pool, then march them in lines to take the picture! If you are able, parents can help with keeping them in the lines.

Swimmers should wear their suit for the pictures. Caps and goggles do not need to be worn. Warm-ups will begin right after the picture.

We will offer $5 5×7 pictures that have a black frame with “HASS 2023” as part of the picture. 8×10 pictures would be $7. You do NOT have to buy these…but they do make nice keepsakes!

We have a tight-turnaround with the time at this meet, so we’ll try to start as soon as possible. As soon as we are done, we’d love help unpacking the set-up and clearing the pool deck. The maintenance man, who is 82 years old and very sweet, would really appreciate us leaving as quickly as possible!

3) YOU ARE NEEDED
If you can help at the Concession Stand, we would really appreciate it. Our two main Concession Stand ladies cannot be at this meet, and Nicole’s husband, Brian, would really appreciate the help! You are able to leave the concession stand to go watch your swimmers!

We also really need timers! Each meet we need 22 timers and a few clerk of course helpers, so even if you did not click the volunteer button, I hope many will reconsider! Thank you!

4) SCHEDULE CHANGE REMINDERS
The following events will all be held at the Halfway Pool:
July 16, Saturday, Night Meet, 6pm
July 19, Wednesday Night, Teen Pizza Pool Party, 6:15pm
July 22, Saturday, Morning Meet, 7:30am
July 29, Saturday, Morning Championship Meet, 7:30am
July 29, Saturday, Evening Awards Party, 6:15pm

Please mark your calendars as these are changes! Please note that we are thankful to provide a make-up meet on July 22 for the meet that was canceled due to weather! Hurray!

5) TEEN PIZZA/POOL PARTY!
If you have a swimmer 13 or older, they are cordially invited to the 2023 HASS Teen Pizza/Pool Party! Wednesday, July 19th, 6:15pm-8:45pm. We will have music, games, pizza, and floats are allowed!

6) BLUE TEAM & BLACK PRACTICE TONIGHT
Just a quick reminder that Blue Team and Black Practice will be practicing tonight at the Westfields Pool tonight, Friday, July 14, from 8-9pm.

7) SWIM LESSONS – LAST CALL
We are so thankful to have great swim lessons instructors who work very hard for your swimmers! If you have a friend or family member who has been asking, the last session begins Monday, July 17th, at the Mt. Lena Pool. Have them contact me with questions!
